⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Absolute Best Around! Dixon Seafood is undoubtedly the top spot for fresh seafood, and it's definitely worth the drive from the Bloomington-Normal area! Their variety is truly impressive—from a fantastic selection of fresh fish to the best lobster you can find around here. I love the range of fresh salads, dips, and more. Everything we’ve tried has been of top-tier quality and incredibly fresh. And it's oddly affordable compared to what Hyvee used to charge, probably because it's wholesale The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If you’re looking for the best seafood selection and quality in Central Illinois, Dixon’s is the place to visit. Highly recommend!

Great selections of meat options, they're fresh and ready to serve so you can walk in and out. Very reasonable prices as well.

I recently picked up some salmon and Alfredo shrimp from Dixons Seafood, and I have to say the quality was outstanding. Everything looked incredibly fresh, and you can tell right away they take pride in what they offer. The salmon turned out amazing, especially with their zesty glaze. It had the perfect balance of flavor. It really elevated the whole dish and made it stand out. The Alfredo shrimp was just as good. The shrimp were fresh, flavorful! Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for high quality seafood to cook at home, Dixons Seafood is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly recommend trying the zesty salmon glaze! it’s seriously delicious!

Not sure what to say, but honestly we've been shopping here for 40 years or so. Thursday we stopped to see what was in stock and took home some Blue Point oysters, Florida pink shrimp, and frozen bacon wrapped scallops for dinner that night. The moment I opened the container of shrimp I smelled ammonia - and the shrimp felt slimy. I got the last pound in the fresh case so maybe they had been around awhile in the open air inside the case. The oysters and scallops were fine so we had plenty to eat, but $22 for spoiled shrimp was a real letdown. My suggestion is that your help is trained to smell the fresh items as they are packing them up because they would have caught this right then. I wish I had done the same thing when I got to my car...would have taken them right back in for a refund or exchange. Water under the bridge but with prices what they are now you should be sure the customer isn't left holding the bag. I'd bring them back today but we are an hour away. Sorry to have to let you know.

My family and I have been coming to this place for as long as I can remember! No matter who is behind the counter they are always friendly and helpful! They always have a great selection of fish on tap and will even give you ideas on how to cook it if you ask! Best Seafood Shop in Central illinois! *Updated, stopped in here around Christmas time and it was so awesome! The workers were hustling and providing exceptional service. The shop was full of customers and the seafood was absolutely on point as usual!
